About UsLifewell Church is a Bible believing community of Jesus Christ's disciples. Although we are not a denominational church, we cooperate with Texas Baptists and are in agreement with historic Baptist theology, as expressed in the Baptist Faith and Message. We stand in agreement with Gospel teaching churches all over the world, as stated in the Lausanne Covenant

HistoryThe church launched in Garland, Texas on July 4th, 1999. We envisioned a community that would reach "the next generation" in a real and relevant way. In 2004, after meeting at a number of venues in both Garland and Richardson, we responded to God's call to locate in downtown Garland. In mid-2007 we began meeting in one of the city's oldest buildings on the historic downtown Square, where we remain today. In 2013 we changed our name to Lifewell Church. We anticipate God will do great things in and through us!

PrinciplesWe affirm that the Holy Bible is God’s inspired and infallible revelation to humankind, and we affirm that the sixty-six books of the Christian canon are a trustworthy record of the history of God’s interaction with his holy people, culminating in the birth, life, death and resurrection of the Savior of the world, our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible is authoritative in all matters of faith, practice, and principle. We rely on the Bible first and last in these matters. We interpret the Bible from the perspective of God’s final revelation to humankind, Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Spirit who inspired its writers. This church stands in fundamental agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message the Lausanne Covenant (links below).
